Jodi is an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist with over seventeen years in the field. She has held various roles in education and healthcare, supporting diverse groups of students and adults with complex communication needs.

Her expertise covers various areas, including phonological disorders, articulation deficits, early language deficits, fluency disorders, children with autism, AAC, emotional/behavioral needs, life skills, and multiple disabilities.

Jodi is passionate about empowering children to find their voice. Whether it’s through improving speech clarity, expanding their vocabulary, enhancing their receptive language skills, or boosting their self-confidence and self-advocacy, Jodi is committed to helping children achieve their full potential. 

When she’s not engaged in speech therapy, Jodi will be found spending time with family and friends. Her two younger daughters keep her on her toes with neighborhood and school activities, as well as their year-round dance lessons.  She also enjoys designing and crafting things as well as gardening and walking with her kids, husband, and rescue dogs - Pepper and Big Mac.  

With her dedication and commitment to her clients, Jodi is excited to continue making a positive impact in the lives of those she serves through private speech services.

Kayla Bakewell, M.S.,CCC-SLP

Kayla is a Speech-Language Pathologist with five years of experience helping children develop the communication skills they need to thrive. She is passionate about working with children of all ages—from early learners to teenagers—and empowering them to communicate with confidence.

She is experienced in working with children with articulation, language, fluency, social communication, multiple disability, and AAC needs.  

She believes speech therapy should be engaging, meaningful, and rooted in real-life communication skills that promote independence and success. By incorporating each child’s interests into therapy, Kayla creates motivating and personalized experiences that help children reach their goals.

Outside of speech, you can find Kayla walking on the trail, reading, gardening, shopping, or spending time with her family and friends.
